The town of Kampot is worthy of your attention; ideally located at the edge of a wide river, the town is of a great architectural interest: French colonial buildings and beautiful Chinese houses of the 1930s contrast with the noteworthy modernity of the 1960s. A boat ride on the Kampot River at the sunset is unforgettable

From Kampot to Veal Renh, the road runs alongside the Elephant Mountain and the opal coast. The massif of the Bokor is worth a one-day trip: old casino and hotel, church and pagoda built at the time of the French protectorate of the Prince Sihanouk’s regime (1955 - 1970). At this time the road is under construction and therefore it is open only during national holidays like Buchm Ben (October) or Khmer New Year (April).
